Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and a passion for creating delicious meals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cook food using various methods, including preparation, presentation, and garnishing.
* Presentation of food and creation of decorative displays.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
* Estimate supplies and costs.
* Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure conformance to standards.
* Monitor sanitation practices.
* Supervise staff engaged in food preparation.
* Demonstrate new cooking techniques and advise on procedures.
* Prepare food with knowledge of nutritional values.
* Check the quality of raw and cooked food products.
* Proper handling of electrical equipment.
* Maintain occupational health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
* Completed Diploma in Hospitality Management.
* At least 1 year of full-time work experience in a similar position.
* Experience in preparing Indian curry pastes from scratch and cooking over Tandoori oven.
Benefits:
* Annual Salary between $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation.
