Responsibilities
- Preparation of documentation and correspondence
- File management and conflict searches
- Managing telephones, incoming/outgoing mail, emails and voicemail
- Electronic diary management
- Dealing with an array of clients
- Utilising legal and accounting software
Skills and Experience
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Ideally 12 months or more experience in an office/professional environment
- Strong verbal and written communication ability
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of Court documents, legal processes an advantage
- Must be available to work between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to follow directions
- You will have a proactive and meticulous approach to your work and be able to multi-task effectively. You will be able to learn quickly.
- Your strong client focus will see you develop a sound knowledge of confidential client files and matters. Ability to maintain client confidentiality is a must.
Employment will be pursuant to the Legal Services Award 2020 (Commonwealth) (the Award).
