About the opportunity
The Finance Manager will lead our financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, impairment assessment, monthly consolidation reporting, implementing ESG reporting, ad-hoc accounting memos (e.g. M&A transactions) and/or finance due diligence for acquisitions. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in partnering with the team, driving performance, and providing insights and trainings to support the team and business growth.
This role is a 6 month – Fixed term assignment.
Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
* Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
* Provide financial analysis, impacts and insights to support business decisions, investments, and operational improvements.
* Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax obligations, and financial regulations.
* Develop and improve internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
* Support audit processes, both internal and external, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
* Implementation of ESG reporting.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
Skills and Knowledge
* CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years' experience in finance leadership roles, ideally within a Big 4 or mid-tier-chartered firm preferred.
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong understanding and ability to apply accounting standards.
* Proficient in financial systems and tools (e.g. Excel, ERP systems such as SAP).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence non-financial stakeholders.
* High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
