**The Role**
As a Capability Analyst in the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Group, you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute directly to industry and business development. This exciting role involves building strong relationships with international and industry partners, as well as contributing to the expansion of the domestic industrial base. - Research, negotiate and present high quality advice to various Committees, Program Boards and associated forums
- Evaluating and advising on capability proposals, including assessments of strategic context, capability options, resource implications, risks, and acquisition strategies.
BDCP - The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace. Applicants engaged into a BDCP position must consider the following. BDCPs provide remuneration in addition to the Defence Enterprise Agreement (EA).

The multi-billion dollar guided weapons and explosive ordnance program is a complex undertaking requiring consideration of various elements including; research and development, test and evaluation, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, overhaul, storage and distribution, disposal, and education and training.
You will work in a diverse team consisting of Australian Defence Force members, Australian Public Servants, contractors to Defence and Industry Partners, analysing, designing and implementing innovative solutions to deliver Governments Guided Weapons production priority.
