Overview
We are seeking a motivated Irrigation Technology Trainee to join our team based in Western Australia. This hands-on traineeship offers the opportunity to build practical skills in irrigation installation, maintenance, and system optimisation while completing a nationally recognised qualification.
You will work across a range of environments including residential developments, commercial landscapes, public open spaces, and agricultural projects.
About the Irrigation Traineeship
Assisting with installation of irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip systems, pumps, and controllers
* Supporting maintenance and repair of irrigation infrastructure
* Learning to troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, and system faults
* Working with site plans and irrigation layouts under supervision
* Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Carrying out routine servicing of irrigation systems
* Supporting water efficiency and sustainable irrigation practices
* Completing theory and practical training toward a Certificate III in Irrigation Technology
The ideal Irrigation Trainee
* Interested in trades, landscaping, agriculture, or water management
* Enjoy working outdoors and performing hands-on physical work
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
* Able to follow instructions and work well in a team
* Hold a valid Australian driver's licence (or working towards it)
* No prior irrigation experience required—training provided
