About the Role
As a Workstream Lead in our Delivery & Transformation team, you'll play a key role in helping to manage the end-to-end delivery of a stream of work to successfully deliver on the key components of the Financial Crime Compliance Program of Action (FCC PoA). You will be accountable for defining the scope of the stream of work, analysing and interpreting data and recommending solutions to enhance Suncorp Bank's processes and practices in response to external regulatory and legislative requirements relating to Financial Crime. In doing so, the solutions should also optimise business processes and increase efficiency.

What will your day look like?
**As a Workstream Lead, you will**:
Design and deliver a tangible response to the Program requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and business objectives.
Develop a comprehensive plan for the workstream, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
Identify and assess potential risks, issues, and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies and take corrective action as needed.
Ensure appropriate governance and decision-making processes for the workstream.
Adhere to project management methodologies
Coordinate and facilitate collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Create and facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to generate ideas and design solutions and to maintain engagement and understanding on initiatives
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure appropriate solutions are identified for management of compliance obligations
Support audit, compliance and risk teams to carry out audits by providing information and key governance artefacts relating to the stream
Maintain oversight over new AUSTRAC requirements to ensure ongoing compliance
Presentation to management committees on process
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated Project Management experience
Proven track record in project management with a strong execution mindset and pragmatic approach to delivery in a complex environment
Experience working in Banking or Financial services
Proven experience and understanding in managing delivery and governance principles
Ability to translate quantitative & qualitative information and relay insights through narratives & visual means
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business
General or SME knowledge of financial crime risk and regulatory requirements will be highly regarded
**Project management certification**: PMP, PRNCE2, or equivalent will be highly regarded
