Building Project Scheduler Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Project Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery group, you will be responsible for providing scheduling services across diverse building projects.
About the Role
* This role involves conducting pre-baseline reviews of contractor's programmes to check adherence to required contractual requirements and industry standard scheduling practices.
* You will prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities to clients.
* Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programmes in case of major delays.
* Conduct delay analysis and assist senior scheduler in delay claims management.
* Arrange meetings with multiple client-side stakeholders to understand their inputs and deliverables during the project and create an integrated master works programme including all these dependencies linked to main contractor's programme.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary degree in engineering, construction, building or project management, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a scheduler/planner on building projects.
* Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
* Prior on-site working experience on construction projects is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end construction processes.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
