About The Role
Red Lily is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and strengthen our finance function.
This is not a transactional role. We need a strategic and systems-focused finance leader who can work autonomously, bring financial clarity to the Executive and Board, develop strong systems and build capability across the organisation.
You will report to the Business Manager and work closely with the CEO, Executive team and Board.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end financial operations and reporting
* Manage multi-cost centre budgets, forecasting and cash flow
* Oversee audits, grant acquittals and funding compliance
* Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls
* Drive continuous quality improvement (CQI) within finance systems
* Conduct supplier analysis and contract reviews to ensure value for money
* Identify efficiencies and lead finance-related improvement projects
* Mentor the Finance Officer and build financial literacy across managers
* Present clear, practical financial insights to Executive and Board
About You
* CPA/CA qualified (or near completion)
* 5+ years' experience in a senior finance role
* Proven experience managing audits and complex funding streams
* Able to write policy and lead financial system improvements
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to see beyond the numbers
* Confident communicator who operates independently
This role suits a proactive finance professional who takes ownership, drives improvement, and does not require day-to-day direction.
Experience in Not-for-Profit or Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations is highly regarded.

* 6 weeks annual leave + 17.5% loading
