Overview 
The team is located at the Royal Hobart Hospital working with a team of cooks and food service officers, preparing and cooking food for Royal Hobart Hospital patients, visitors and clients. This position supports this team with administrative support. 
Details of appointment 
Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, weekends only, commencing as soon as possible. 
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. 
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. 
Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Responsibilities 
You will need: 
- Experience in administrative functions and the ability to undertake those duties efficiently and effectively within a hospital environment together with knowledge of policies, procedures, guidelines and legislation and how they are used in the workplace. 
- Well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with public and staff at all levels. 
- Demonstrated flexibility and customer service skills working within an innovative team including, the ability to organise, prioritise and problem solve workflows according to demand.

Qualifications (desirable) 
- Successful completion of or a willingness to undertake, a recognised course in business/office administration 
- Demonstrated experience in a healthcare setting
