Turtle Traffic Pty Ltd is looking for a committed Civil Construction Supervisor to become part of our expanding team in a full-time capacity. This leadership role is hands-on, guiding daily operations across civil construction sites to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
Responsibilities
* Project and Site Operations – Oversee daily site activities, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure project programs, schedules, and outcomes are achieved.
* Safety and Compliance – Implement WHS&E requirements, conduct inductions, manage subcontractor compliance, and lead regular safety audits and inspections.
* Documentation and Reporting – Prepare daily diaries, time sheets, delivery records, and inspection/test plans; certify staff timecards; and report incidents promptly.
* Resource and Materials Management – Program manpower and equipment, organize surveys and set-outs, ensure proper calibration of tools, and coordinate timely procurement and delivery of materials.
* Quality Assurance – Verify construction work against drawings, codes, and specifications; maintain inspection records; and ensure plant/equipment servicing and site security.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in construction projects, with strong knowledge of site operations, project scheduling, and resource management.
* Solid understanding of WHS&E (Workplace Health, Safety & Environment) standards, risk analysis, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and liaise effectively with project managers and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in construction documentation, including daily diaries, time sheets, inspection/test plans, and quality assurance reporting.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to ensure projects meet specifications, codes, and deadlines
