Media Communication Specialist Job
This job opportunity is open for a skilled media communication specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing expert media services and communications advice to management and staff of SA Health.
Job Description:
The primary role of the media communication specialist is to provide high-quality media services, including developing and implementing pro-active media strategies and managing reactive and crisis situations. This involves working closely with various stakeholders to identify Departmental media training needs and contributing to the delivery of effective media plans.
In this position, you will also be responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, and delivery of media campaigns and associated services. Your expertise in media relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement will be essential in maintaining positive relationships with the public, media, and other key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of media relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement
* Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
