Role Overview
As a Clinical Director, you will provide expert clinical leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. This involves ensuring the delivery of evidence-based services that focus on recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic clinical guidance and oversight to mental health clinicians
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care
* Collaborate with consumers, families, carers, and stakeholders to deliver person-centred care
* Communicate effectively and critically evaluate information to inform decision making
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers
* Minimum 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience with postgraduate tertiary nursing qualifications in mental health
* Understanding of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles
* Ability to think critically, problem solve, and make timely, sound clinical decisions
