About The Role: This role is based in Katherine NT.
NBPS has an opportunity for a high performer who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to deliver a diverse range of projects across multiple NT locations, covering all trade disciplines and financial values from $10,000 to $5,500,000.
Our client base is over 90% Federal, Territory, and Local Government.
In this role, you will manage the full project lifecycle from concept, planning, construction, monitoring, and project closeout. You will be supported by a collaborative, results-driven team.
We handle Maintenance (Trade Services), Renovations, New Construction, Residential, and Commercial projects.

The Company: NBPS has been operating for over 8 years in the NT, specializing in remote maintenance and building services for residential and commercial clients. We work in some of Australia's most remote locations, including Arnhem Land and Kakadu National Park. Our clients include Federal, State, and Local Government, as well as NGOs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Oversee all workflows and project management for diverse trade services, including grounds maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, residential and commercial construction, and insurance remediation works.
* Conduct daily site inspections (remotely or in person) to ensure work complies with plans, quality, safety standards, and schedule. Collaborate with site supervisors/foremen for risk analysis and WHS/E management.
* Monitor construction quality, materials, and workmanship to meet standards and codes.
* Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and laborers, coordinating tasks to meet project timelines.
* Enforce HSEQ protocols to protect workers, equipment, and the environment.
* Manage project costs, identify savings, and ensure budgets are maintained.
* Source and negotiate with suppliers nationwide or overseas, coordinate deliveries.
* Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, provide updates, and manage expectations.
* Keep accurate project documentation and report issues.
What Success Looks Like:
* 99%+ of project labor and material expenses correctly captured and allocated
* 100% of variations captured, costed, and approved
* 90%+ of project progress reports and daily logs completed
* Resources allocated correctly and on time
* Proactive problem-solving and anticipation of needs
Key Selection Criteria:
* Previous project management experience in residential construction, architecture, engineering, or related fields. New graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
* Experience with project management software such as ServiceM8 or Buildertrend is highly regarded but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, Click-Up, and Bluebeam.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships and demonstrate empathy.
* Dispute resolution skills.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
