Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Analyst in Global Corporate Banking. This role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with public and private companies, focusing on Australian and New Zealand headquartered companies.
The successful candidate will work closely with business partners and product specialists to identify cross-selling opportunities and support the ongoing needs of our clients. Key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with Bankers to originate and generate new banking opportunities from prospective and existing clients.
2. Identifying, assessing, and reviewing client profiles, credit transaction risks, structuring, and documentation of client credit requests.
3. Closely working with credit underwriting teams on client and credit risk analysis, transaction structuring, and documentation relating to credit requests.
4. Serving as the primary point of contact for existing clients, following through with day-to-day / reverse enquiries.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include:
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
* Minimum 1 year of prior experience within Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, with strong credit or corporate finance background.
* Strong credit, analytical, and financial modeling skills, knowledge of corporate or investment banking products and execution experience.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
* Able to be a highly motivated, productive team player with a partnership and collaborative mindset.
