About the Role
As Vice President, you will play a key role in the analysis, structuring, and execution of commercial real estate transactions, typically within the AUD 50–100 million range. Working in a lean and highly credentialed team, you will gain hands-on deal exposure and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility from day one.
This role sits within one of Europe's largest and most established banking groups and offers the chance to build deep transactional experience across the Australian market.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conduct financial and credit analysis on new and prospective transactions, including cashflow modelling, risk assessment, credit ratings, and preparing investment memorandums, credit submissions, and annual reviews.
* Lead aspects of transaction execution including client engagement, documentation, due diligence coordination, and responding to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Support origination efforts by identifying new opportunities, contributing to client pitches, and preparing internal and external marketing materials.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, industry partners, and internal counterparts across local and global teams. Stay across market trends, sector developments, and regulatory changes.
About You
* You will bring approximately 5–8 years' experience from an institutional or corporate bank, real estate investment firm, or advisory environment, with a strong foundation in commercial real estate lending.
* You will have strong financial modelling and valuation capability, coupled with the ability to engage confidently with sophisticated institutional clients.
* You will thrive in a collaborative, flat-structured environment where you will work directly with the Head of Real Estate locally and closely with global credit and transaction teams—making this an excellent platform for someone who is driven, commercially astute, and eager to progress toward Director level.
