**The Company**
Phillip Riley has partnered with a hugely exciting client, revolutionizing technology within acoustics. The business develop this technology for off-shore examination, specifically for reef analysis, wind farm development projects and environmental classification. The business is a true success story here in Australia, and they have been awarded and celebrated regularly.
**The Role**
Due to a new product release, the business is looking to expand its production capabilities, including this role for a Production Manager in Perth. This is a key role in their national leadership team, and they are looking for an experienced production manager, with excellent people management skills and excellent knowledge in a Manufacturing workplace. Other responsibilities include;
- Manage and schedule the Production Team to deliver quality products, on time and within budget and in line with the company's inventory strategy.
- Manage the selection, training and development of the Assembly Technicians, with a culture and performance standard aligned with the standards required of our production team
- Manage the preventative maintenance, calibration, and storage of production equipment
- Work closely with production engineering to ensure best approach
- Build and mentor a team, largely from scratch.
**Key Skills**
- Excellent people manager, assertive and process orientated.
- Leads by example and can clearly understand articulate important information and / or challenges to key stakeholders.
- Continuously looking for ways to drive improvement and efficiency.
- Likely to have 2 + years in a production management role within a Manufacturing environment (Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics etc).
- Experience with a Quality Management System (QMS) to plan and manage inventory (they use Salesforce).
