Job Summary

Role
As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing and implementing big data technologies through the application of high-performance computing, large scale data integration and emerging analytical platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection and Interpretation: Gather and interpret data from various sources to identify relevant information and insights
2. Pattern and Trend Identification: Analyze dataset to identify patterns and trends, enabling informed decision-making and forecasting
3. Insight Derivation: Derive actionable insights and forecasts from data analysis, supporting business objectives and strategies
4. Data Quality Assessment: Assess data quality and implement remediation measures to ensure accuracy and reliability
5. Data Mapping: Map data from different sources to facilitate integration and compatibility
6. Report Creation and Data Visualization: Create comprehensive reports and visualized data using reporting tools to effectively communicate findings and insights
7. Data Pipeline Management: Build and maintain data pipelines to streamline the flow of information and automate processes
8. Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the implementation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Requirements
9. Proficiency in analysing large datasets and writing comprehensive reports
10. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data
11. Strong attention to detail and methodological mindset
12. Strong problem solving skills
13. Intermediate understanding of databases and data models
14. Hands‐on experience with SQL database design
15. Experience designing, developing, and publishing data ETL pipelines
16. Exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Storage
17. Team skills and collaboration.
Desirable Skills
18. Understanding of reporting and data visualisation tools such as PowerBI
19. Excellent communication skills
20. Education in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics
21. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C#.
