KORR is proud to partner with the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia to recruit for key maintenance positions: a Senior Base Engineer (LAME) and LAME B1 and B2 positions. Based in Dubbo, New South Wales, these roles offer the chance to contribute to a meaningful cause, supporting the delivery of high-quality medical and primary health care to rural and remote communities across New South Wales, ACT and interstate.
The Role
As a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and technical support to the RFDS aircraft fleet, in line with the organisation's maintenance procedures and practices.
You will ensure ongoing safety, reliability and airworthiness of the fleet. You may also be required to perform temporary relief maintenance at other RFDS locations as operational needs arise.
You will be expected to contribute to a positive team culture where individual members are valued and recognised for their diverse skills sets, while also building strong, collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Minimum requirements
• Hold a CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License for type-rated turbine aircraft appropriate to RFDS fleet of King Air B200 and B300 aircraft
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance with a strong focus on reliability and service excellence
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organisational capabilities, with a collaborative and team- oriented approach
• Sound analytical and trouble shooting skills with a proactive attitude towards problem solving
• A high level of self- motivation, initiative and personal accountability
• Confidence using basic computer systems
