The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this highly visible, standalone Payroll position will allow you to become a vital cog in a high performing finance team in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll, processing alternating weekly payroll and addressing payroll queries within required deadlines.
* Payroll processing (weekly for approx. 600 people)
* Payroll reconciliations
* Payroll accruals/journals
* Update systems/procedures
* Updating and maintaining personal records
* Processing new starters
* Terminations/annual leave calculations
* Overtime calculations
* EBA and award interpretation
About You
The successful candidate will obtain a strong technical knowledge of full function Payroll and be customer service focused. Experience in using large Payroll systems working for a medium to large sized business (min 3+ years) will be looked upon favorably, experience in large payroll systems (ie SAGE, ADP, Chris 21, HR3) will be highly regarded. You will also be resilient and able to multitask and manage a high-volume workload. Your skills will also include:
* Intermediate excel skills (v look ups/pivots)
* Adaptability – ability to embrace change
* Experience in EA Award & interpretation (particularly within retail environment)
