Job Description
The Industry Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in driving visibility, external engagement, and industry partnership revenue growth for our organisation. This B2B role works closely with engineering teams to identify, engage, convert, and maintain external commercial partners into collaborative, revenue-generating R&D opportunities.
You will be involved in early-stage sales activities, lead generation, qualification against set criteria, and handover to senior managers for scoping and execution. The role focuses on generating qualified business leads to support new R&D projects and the capabilities of the team in mechatronics, software engineering, UX research, and digital solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in business development, particularly in B2B engagement, lead generation, and lead management.
* A background in B2B technology, engineering, or innovation consulting is highly desirable.
