About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to focus on QA/QC construction activities. The role will support the delivery of a major greenfield PV + BESS project. This role functions as an Owner's Engineer–style representative on site, providing technical oversight of construction quality, inspection processes, and workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day QA/QC oversight of construction activities for the solar and BESS project.
* Review, verify, and monitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, ITPs, and quality procedures.
* Conduct inspections, witness tests, verify workmanship standards, and ensure installation quality across all work fronts.
* Support the identification and resolution of non-conformances, quality risks, and construction issues.
* Maintain accurate records including inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, and progress updates.
* Liaise with EPC contractor teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and on time.
* Assist with technical meetings, construction coordination, and readiness reviews leading into commissioning.
* Promote strong HSE and compliance practices in alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
About You:
* Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (or related technical discipline).
* Minimum 5 years' engineering experience, with substantial on-site exposure.
* Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, and construction quality standards.
* Background in utility-scale solar, BESS, or major power-generation or infrastructure projects highly desirable.
* Knowledge of electrical installation standards, testing practices, and construction documentation.
* Able to build strong working relationships with EPC contractors, inspectors, and client-side teams.
* Comfortable working in the field, reviewing work fronts, identifying issues, and supporting practical solutions.
