We are seeking a highly skilled registered nurse for the position of Lead Nurse at our medical centre in Kotara NSW.
Scope:
* Provide a link between services, patients and the general practitioner by coordinating patient services
* Proven track record in improving clinical outcomes with your advanced knowledge specifically in regards to CDM/veteran affairs and Recall/ reminder systems
* Assist the general practice to improve the health outcomes of its patients by implementing, developing and providing clinical support
* Ensure standards and legislative requirements are met and maintained whilst managing the clinical environment
* Provide leadership and management support in consultation with the Practice Manager and Medical Coordinator
* Proficient in performing the clinical duties required within a General Practice setting
* Previous management experience in a general practice setting: managing the team as well as Performance & Development processes.
* Current unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Prior experience working in a general practice setting
* Understanding of cold chain processes
* Experience with managing clinical stock and stock ordering
* Understanding of the importance and functionality of recall processes in a general practice setting.
* Special interest in Care Planning
