About the Role
We are currently seeking Aged Care Support Workers to join our growing roster in Darwin. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to elderly clients within aged care facilities, helping to promote dignity, comfort, safety, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
* Providing personal care assistance, including showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support
* Assisting residents with mobility, transfers, and manual handling in line with care plans
* Supporting residents with meals, feeding, hydration, and general daily living activities
* Building positive relationships with residents through companionship and respectful communication
* Monitoring resident wellbeing and reporting any concerns or changes in condition
* Maintaining accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reporting where required
* Supporting a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
* Following facility procedures, infection control standards, and all relevant health and safety requirements
About You

* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong in communication and able to engage respectfully with residents, families, and staff
* Adaptable and able to work across different facilities and shift types
* Confident in following care plans, policies, and workplace procedures
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid NT Working with Vulnerable People / relevant clearances if required
* Full Australian working rights
* Current vaccination records or willingness to meet facility compliance requirements
* Previous aged care, disability, community care, or support work experience highly regarded
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transport may be advantageous
