About The Role
Airbus currently has a position available for experienced Aircraft Maintenance Planner / Production Planner / Scheduler.
As a member of the RAAF Base Richmond Maintenance Planning and MCS / CAMM2 team, your primary responsibility will be to capture, analyse and forecast aircraft maintenance related data to determine optimal use of resources and task scheduling. You will use this information to drive and support the operational workforce in achieving agreed performance indicators against the aircraft fleet plan.
In Addition, This Position Will Also Be Responsible For
Assisting in the induction and delivery of scheduled aircraft
Identifying, reporting and proposing resolutions for fleet plan variances
Preparation, issue and audit of maintenance work packages
Ensuring accurate records of fleet maintenance data are collected, reported and stored
Working with other teams to capture relevant data to support fleet planning
About You
As the Maintenance Planner, you will work closely with a large and inclusive team of technical experts focused on success.
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
As the successful candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
Previous aircraft maintenance / production planning / scheduling experience
Intimate knowledge of aircraft technical documentation
Previous experience using aircraft maintenance management systems and software
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Strong communication skills, and ability to work in multi-functional teams
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Other Skills Which Would Be Highly Desirable
Experience using CAMM2 as a Data Manager
Experience in a deeper maintenance aircraft environment
Experience using Primavera or other similar scheduling software
Experience using SAP or similar ERP System, and/or Tableau software
Experience working in a Defence/military environment
