About the role
Reporting to the Home Manager at Calvary Kirralee, located in Ballarat, we currently have an opportunity for a Chef Manager to join our team
Key Responsibilities
* A passion for, and previous experience working as a Chef Manager in Aged Care
* Knowledge of the various legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the catering service within the residential care sector.
* Working knowledge of menu planning, ordering, managing stock levels, IDDSI, staff supervision and allergen management.
What you bring
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
* Diploma of Hospitality
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Health Care Competencies)
* Significant experience in a similar role in the residential care or health care sectors.
* A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
