We're looking for experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Mackay branch and lead our parts warehouse operations. Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of parts. This hands-on leadership role combines operational responsibilities with team supervision and a focus on continuous improvement. This is a permanent position, that supports better work-life balance.

What you'll be doing:

As a Warehouse Team Leader at Hastings Deering, you will:

* Lead, coach and support the team - guide warehouse and parts personnel to ensure strong performance, capability development, and a positive team culture.
* Oversee warehouse operations - manage receipting, picking, packing and dispatch processes to maintain efficient and accurate parts handling.
* Ensure inventory accuracy - maintain stock control, monitor variances, and uphold high standards of warehouse organisation.
* Allocate and prioritise workloads - coordinate daily tasks and manage shifting priorities to achieve required service levels.
* Maintain safety and compliance - uphold safety standards and ensure adherence to Hastings Deering policies and procedures.
* Collaborate across teams - work closely with parts, service and logistics teams to meet operational and customer needs.
* Drive continuous improvement - identify and implement opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency, workflows and processes.

What you'll need:

A successful teammate will have experience in:

* Demonstrated leadership experience - bring proven capability in supervising or leading teams to drive performance and cohesion.
* Strong systems and inventory knowledge - apply solid understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
* Forklift capability - hold a current forklift licence or be willing to obtain one to support operational requirements.
* Clear and confident communicator - use strong communication and organisational skills to support effective teamwork and workflow management.
* Safety‑focused and proactive - uphold a safety‑first mindset with a team‑oriented approach to maintaining a compliant and positive work environment.
