 
        
        Role Overview
The Youth Mental Health Initiative is seeking a Senior Clinician to join their team. The YMHI aims to provide early access to care for young people presenting with severe and complex mental health needs.
This role offers the opportunity to work with local Community Mental Health teams, co-located within headspace centres. You will collaborate with partner agencies to develop streamlined referral pathways and ensure timely transitions of care between services.

Key Responsibilities
 * Provide trauma-informed, culturally safe intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex mental health concerns.
 * Lead, mentor, and supervise to ensure delivery of strengths-based mental health care and treatment.
 * Collaborate with headspace and partner agencies to enhance youth mental health pathways and services.
Selectable criteria include relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of AASW for Social Workers. Postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers; understanding of trauma-informed care.
