Job Title: Strategic Data Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data Architect to lead our team in designing and implementing cutting-edge data management solutions.
* Develop and implement end-to-end data architectures that meet scalability, security, and industry best practice requirements.
* Provide strategic advisory services to government clients, helping them develop data strategies and roadmaps aligned with public sector objectives.
* Lead and mentor delivery teams, providing technical direction and best practice guidance at both regional and global levels.
* Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business needs, facilitate workshops, and drive business use case discovery.
* Oversee the implementation of data integration, modeling, and analytics solutions, ensuring quality and consistency across projects.
Required Skills:
* Proven expertise in solution architecture and design for large-scale data and analytics platforms.
* Strong experience with SAP data and analytics solutions, with the ability to rapidly learn and apply new SAP Business Data Cloud capabilities.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and instruct teams across regions and on a global scale.
* Solid understanding of cloud concepts, data architecture, and enterprise data management in a public sector context.
* Experience working with or for government agencies, ideally within the Federal Government sector.
* Financial background in planning, with experience in budgeting processes and financial modeling.
* Australian citizenship and the ability to secure and maintain government security clearance is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain deep expertise in SAP's data and analytics portfolio, focusing on SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP HANA Cloud.
* Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the CoE and across the wider SAP community.
* Contribute to the development of best practices, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing across the CoE and globally.
* Support the sales process as a subject matter expert, including proposal development, solution scoping, and customer presentations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
