**Your Role**: As our Employment and Industrial Relations Specialist, you'll have the autonomy to make a real impact on our business. Your primary focus will be on IR/ER, but you'll also cover general HR responsibilities and WHS matters. Your key duties will include:
- Accurate and timely assessment of jobs
- Ensuring compliant pay and conditions for all on-hire employees
- Providing specialized advice on IR/ER and HR matters
- Assisting industrial advocates with complex issues
- Managing grievances and overseeing WHS incidents
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, case law, and legislative changes
**Geographical Remit**: You'll support our team members across Australia and New Zealand, with some mínimal travel required.
**Requirements**: Ideally, you are degree qualified or have relevant experience in a similar role. Expertise in the Australian Awards system is a must, and familiarity with New Zealand's work and leave rules is a plus.
**Working Style**: To thrive in this role, you'll need to be comfortable engaging at all levels, working in remote teams, and making brave decisions. You'll also have a keen understanding of people's motivations and drivers.
