NT Link is welcoming applications for the position of Construction Supervisor/Branch Manager to join our Alice Springs team.
Current and permanent Australian work rights are essential for this position.
About You:
Candidates must hold a White Card certification, an Australian Drivers Licence, and ideally a High Risk Forklift licence.
Candidates must have a minimum 3 years background in Building Construction, with Carpentry trade. Alternatively, 5+ years experience within the building and construction industry, combined with 1-2 years supervisory experience may be suitable.
Candidates would preferably have worked experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, as well as operational exposure to using Safety systems/platforms and or Asset Management systems.
NT Link will consider FIFO candidates from Darwin - on a 3 on/1 off roster - should there be a strong alignment of skills, experience and values.

The Role:
The Construction Supervisor/Branch Manager role is responsible for coordinating day to day operations for the Alice Springs branch in partnership with the Transport Manager, Construction Manager and relevant Project Managers.
Key areas of responsibility may include:
* Provide proactive and thorough communication and guidance for the Alice Springs team on daily, weekly and upcoming jobs
* Proactively consult with the Install Supervisors, Transport Manager and Project Managers to ensure resources (people, plant & equipment) are appropriately allocated to jobs
* Participate in regular project and operational meetings as required to ensure effective delivery of works for the Alice Springs region
* Monitor stock and materials levels to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner in partnership with the Procurement team, to minimize delays in works
* Coordination, and onsite management of any subcontractors engaged to work in the Alice Springs Yards
* Partner with the HSEQ team to monitor and action any HSEQ requirements within the Alice Springs yard
* Manage the day to day performance of the Alice Springs Construction team, keeping the Executive team updated on any challenges or complex matters
* Provide input into regular reporting for the Executive Team
* Some remote work may be required at times, however, this role will primarily be based in Alice Springs
