We are currently seeking a First Year Air-conditioning Apprentice to join our team. The role will work 38 hour week Monday-Friday, with overtime available. At Perth City Air, you will have a unique opportunity to work directly alongside our passionate business owners.
Responsibilities
* Under the supervision of our experienced and qualified air-conditioning tradespeople, you will be trained in the installation and servicing of a wide range of residential and commercial air-conditioning systems.
* Ducted air-conditioning
* VRV systems
* Wall split systems
* Evaporative coolers
* Roof Top Package systems
Qualifications
* The successful applicant will need to be committed to completing an air-conditioning and refrigeration Apprenticeship, including completing TAFE training in a timely manner.
* Possess a great work ethic; be reliable and punctual
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and schedules
* Sound mathematical and English skills
* Valid Driver's Licence – "C" Class unrestricted
* Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
* Able to pass Drug & Alcohol and Medical Screening
* Possess high attention to detail
* Completion of an Air-conditioning Pre-Apprenticeship or training in this area would be an advantage
* Experience in installing air-conditioning systems would also be advantageous
