About the Role
This Allied Health Assistant will join the Home Care team based in Dubbo and surrounding areas, supporting clients to achieve health and wellbeing goals through in‐home and group programs designed by physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver allied health services as per clients' care plans within the Model of Care.
- Facilitate and support in‐home and group activities, such as health and wellness exercise programs.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all scheduled services are completed.
- Support client goals through interventions outlined in their care plans.
- Maintain client motivation and encourage independent living.
- Identify opportunities to further enhance quality of life and choices.
- Capture client feedback and report on progress toward set goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate 4 Allied Health Assistant or equivalent (2 years of study in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy).
- Experience as an Allied Health Assistant desirable (but not essential).
- Previous experience working in aged or community services sector.
- Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to offer solutions.
- Passion for improving client's health, wellbeing, and independence.
- Computer literacy and efficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Current NSW Driver's licence and a registered & insured motor vehicle.

Employment Details
Location – Dubbo and surrounding areas. Casual position with flexible days Monday to Friday. Salary packaging available.
