Job Description
The Electrical Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
* Supervise and support the night shift electrical team to maintain operational efficiency.
* Ensure all electrical systems and machinery are operating safely and effectively.
* Coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance activities during the night shift.
* Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and minimise downtime.
* Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
* Document and report nightly activities, including maintenance and repairs.
* Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their technical skills.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Night Shift Electrical Supervisor should have:
* Relevant electrical trade qualifications or certification.
* Experience in electrical systems, particularly in the FMCG industry.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development.
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
* Flexibility to work night shifts 10pm - 6am
