Charterhouse Partnership are exclusively partnering with a Brisbane-based organisation to recruit a senior finance leader who is hands-on, commercially minded, and ready to make a genuine impact.
This is a broad and influential Financial Controller role, covering end-to-end financial management, governance, and compliance, alongside strategic and project-focused financial insight.
You will work closely with the CEO as a trusted advisor, contributing to business planning, value creation initiatives, and informed decision-making across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
* End-to-end financial management, reporting, and controls
* Governance, compliance, and statutory obligations
* Strategic financial insight across Capex/Opex, forecasting, modelling, and performance analysis
* Partnering with the CEO on business planning and value creation initiatives
* Managing relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and government bodies
* Providing commercial and operational insights to support growth and project delivery
About you:
* Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
* Strong technical accounting foundation with a commercial mindset
* Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment with genuine autonomy
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
* Background in, or a genuine interest in, property development or construction
* Resilient, tenacious and someone who thrives on challenges
