What You Will Get To Do
Understand the compliance obligations of your role and ensure there are controls to meet them; raise concerns related to poor compliance or risk management; highlight risks to management; complete mandatory training to perform your role and understand the regulatory context of the organisation.
Coordinate and administer insurance-related services to corporate superannuation clients and employers (where applicable), members and beneficiaries.
Manage end-to-end insurance application and underwriting lodgement processes, including communication of insurer decisions and updates to member accounts.
Prepare and submit claims documentation, follow up on outstanding requirements, and coordinate referrals to the trustee services team.
Oversee the full lifecycle of insurance claims, ensuring effective communication and coordination with insurers, clients, claimants, members, beneficiaries, and their representatives.
Protect superannuation assets, keep members' interests first, and improve member insurance outcome updates for member accounts.
Provide empathetic and compassionate support to vulnerable clients, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism.
Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing data, enhancing processes, and sharing knowledge to improve system capabilities.
Monitor and respond to inquiries via the insurance phone line / Help Hub Chat, including participation in early morning and late shift rosters as required.

What You Will Bring
2-3 years' experience in the insurance and superannuation industry, specifically in claims and/or underwriting administration (preferred)
Experience in the administration of superannuation funds (preferred)
RG146 is beneficial
Knowledge of Superannuation & legislation relating to insurance
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
