**The Position**
Reporting directly to the CEO, and a key member of the internal Leadership Team, the Office Manager will play a key role in achieving the strategic operational objectives for the business.
The Office Manager will also be responsible for the day-to-day operational functions (business operations compliance, OH&S, risk management, IT and office administration) of the organisation including the supervision of office staff.
The nature of this role requires strong and effective leadership to support and manage a culturally strong and diverse organisation. As part of the leadership team the Office Manager will lead change management within the organisation and imbed effective and efficient systems and processes, build capacity of internal services and programs to reflect, identify and improve process and models for better Aboriginal community engagement and participation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Working closely with the CEO to coordinate strategic initiatives
- Manage the risk management and business operations compliance
- Oversee the efficient and effective operation of all IT system
- Manage office budgets
- Grants administration and management
- Project management and providing project management support to technical staff
- Manage and coordinate the Receptionist/Administrator Assistant, Language & Education Officer activities
- Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence
- Oversee and coordinate events
- Contribute to the development of the Annual Report
**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, likely to be in senior finance or business operations/management role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Managing organisational risks.
- Exposure to corporate governance, risk and compliance and IT.
- High proficiency in building systems and processes.
- Advanced in using MS suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
