This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
Our client, a large QLD Government Department, is seeking to engage an experienced Recruitment & HR Officer to provide high-level strategic Recruitment & HR advice.

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our HR team, to play a key part in our recruitment processes as our organisation grows substantially over the coming months. As we are a newly established independent statutory authority, this is a outstanding prospect for someone who is a self starter and enjoys setting up and rolling out best practice recruitment processes.
In addition to the recruitment focus of this role, there will also be a requirement to support HR projects as well as provide some HR admin support. Due to the transitional phase of our organisation, these responsibilities and projects will vary and could include onboarding, HR policies and processes, employee engagement, remuneration etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee full end-to-end recruitment processes (managed in-house) including coordinating interview schedules, providing advice on interview questions/methods;
* Oversee external agency recruitment processes;
* Develop role descriptions;
* Administration of all related recruitment activity including accurate record keeping within an electronic recording keeping system;
* Undertake procurement activities related to engagement of recruitment agencies;
* Contribute to the development of recruitment guidelines and processes;
* Contribute to the investigation of recruitment platforms and related recommendation.
