Procurement Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for sourcing and buying process, providing support to cross-functional teams on various projects, building trusted relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent and at least 5 years' working experience in Data, Supply Chain, Consulting, Procurement and Sourcing. You should also possess good oral and written communication skills and good problem-solving skills.
As a Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will include placing and following up on Purchase Orders (POs), managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution, managing problems and scheduling changes including update of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and communications to stakeholders.
You will also detect and signal flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggest improvements. Additionally, you will manage cost targets and identify opportunities for reductions including pricing and inventory management.
Furthermore, you will handle communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis and contribute to projects as a team member.
Requirements:
