Lead Mechanical Engineer
Our ideal candidate will lead all mechanical works across fixed plant construction and commissioning phases. This includes overseeing installation and mechanical completion of crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, and other infrastructure.
Responsibilities include managing inspections, punchlisting, QA/QC, and system handover to operations teams. The successful candidate will also interface with construction, commissioning, operations, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Lead Mechanical Engineer will ensure safety, compliance, and engineering standards are maintained at all stages of delivery. They will contribute to planning and support startup of mechanical systems.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in leading mechanical works across fixed plant construction and commissioning phases
* Strong technical skills, including installation and mechanical completion of infrastructure
* Ability to manage inspections, QA/QC, and system handover to operations teams
* Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to interface with multiple teams
* Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to resolve technical issues
