Children's Services Operations Manager
Our organization seeks a highly skilled Children's Services Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our before-school, after-school, and holiday programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* We will implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in our care.
* Manage the daily operations of programs, including staff rostering.
* Oversight of planning and delivery of engaging activities and experiences for children that support their learning and development.
* Collaboration with schools, parents, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and positive relationships.
* Conduct regular audits and evaluations of programs to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Budget and financial management for each program.
* Implement strategies to increase program enrollment and revenue.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance purposes.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in the sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Children's Services or related field required.
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in OSHC leadership role necessary.
* Proven leadership and management experience, with ability to effectively train, motivate, and manage a team.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHC regulations and standards crucial.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build positive relationships.
* High level of organizational and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Sound financial management skills essential.
* Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain) required.
