**_About the role _**
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team as an Inventory Planner. You'll be responsible for ensuring the continued supply of Canon merchandise, parts and consumables whilst maintaining active control of inventory levels in line with Canon Australia's stock turn targets. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is keen to learn.
Scope of the role includes:
- Monitoring & analysing AX merchandise stock levels in order to maintain correct levels
- Reviewing and placing purchase orders on Local vendors on daily/weekly basis
- Communicating inventory matters with Inventory Planning staff
- Planning/Forecasting CINC/local merchandise items based on sales history, stock situation, inventory targets to Vendors.
- Providing support to branches/warehouse/CNZ
- Supplying ETA for awaiting items to all parties involved
- Raising Sales/Internal orders as requested
- Managing Loan/Trial/Dem mailbox and Capex order processing
- Uploading reports to intranet site as required
- Managing the backorder processes
**_About you_**
You are someone with excellent organisation skills and administration skills you know how to use excel including VLOOKUP and Formulars. You are a confident communicator, and you know how to deliver in a varied and busy environment that puts the customer at the heart. Perhaps you have worked in an inventory role before or perhaps you are looking to build on your excellent organisation and administration skills in a new environment.
Key Skills & Experience include
- Data management and maintenance experience
- The ability to interpret data and make appropriate forecast/purchasing volume decisions to meet defined supply rate targets
- Excellent verbal communication and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer Literacy -particularly Microsoft Excel
