About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Ventia's Construction Managers are responsible for providing clear leadership to project teams, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and that HSE, efficiency, and quality goals are met and maintained on Company and Client sites.
The person will ensure site compliance with statutory standards, company, and Client policies and procedures, especially those related to personal safety of team members and others.
About the Project
The Boulder Creek Wind Farm is an up to 372 MW onshore wind farm, located 40 km southwest of Rockhampton in central Queensland. Developed by Aula Energy, it comprises 60 wind turbines. Ventia will work with Principle Contractor DTI on the design, planning, and construction of a 275/33kv substation and 7 km of 275kv transmission line.
Ventia seeks Electrical and Civil Construction Managers to start in June. This role offers stability, longevity, and meaningful work opportunities.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
* Develop, direct, and coordinate project operations to maximize efficiency and meet budget and client requirements.
* Promote a positive HSE culture in the workplace.

* Manage site construction teams, including tendering, development, construction, financial, safety, and quality issues.
* Participate in contract partnering arrangements addressing client and company requirements.

About You
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
* Experience in renewable energy projects and/or substation construction or expansion.
* Experience working with Powerlink, Transgrid, AusNet, or ElectroNet.
* Extensive experience in planning, setup, and execution of works.
* Ability to quickly learn client policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Current driver's license.
