Site Supervisor– Residential & Commercial (Northam, WA)
Akron is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead residential development & commercial projects in Northam, WA region. This is a hands-on role overseeing project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction at every stage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery against program and budget.
* Build and maintain project schedules using project management software, updating progress weekly.
* Attend site and client meetings to discuss progress, variances, and any project issues.
* Liaise with clients throughout the build process, providing regular progress updates and assisting with variations as needed.
* Review supplier and subcontractor quotes in line with the authority matrix.
* Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring materials and equipment are ordered, delivered, and ready onsite as scheduled.
* Conduct material call ups and quality control checks to maintain high standards.
* Communicate regularly with Contract Administrator regarding deliveries and subcontractor scheduling.
* Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance for quality, productivity, and adherence to timelines.
* Review invoice discrepancies and liaise with the Contract Administrator for resolution.
* Attend inspections with the Shire, Engineers, and Certifiers as required.
* Oversee practical completion inspections and ensure all outstanding works are completed.
* Close out projects with clear and professional communication to clients.

About You:
* Proven experience supervising residential construction projects.
* Minimum 1-2 years of residential construction supervision experience required.
* Strong communication and organisational skills with confidence engaging clients and project stakeholders.
* Proficient with project management software and construction documentation.
* A proactive and solutions focused attitude with a commitment to teamwork and safety.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
