Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the North Perth region. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and abilities.


About the Role:

* This is an excellent opportunity for a senior occupational therapist to lead a caseload, provide timely therapeutic services, and make a meaningful impact in their local community.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
* The role also involves interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and mentoring early career clinicians.
* The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to ongoing professional development, and the ability to maintain awareness of current legislation.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
2. Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity.
3. Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
4. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
5. Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
6. Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

* Relevant qualifications and experience as an occupational therapist.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
