About the Business Unit:
Corrections Victoria has committed to establishing the Barwon Precinct, aimed at developing shared operating models among four prisons to improve prisoner outcomes and create efficiencies. As a component of this initiative, the Facility and Assets group was established to provide local and contracted facility and asset management services with consistent and transparent service levels.
About the Role:
Working as part of the Facility and Assets group, the Facility and Assets, Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness of all designated areas. Including but not limited to, wet areas, bathrooms, Kitchenettes, office spaces, hallways, entries, windows, pathways, and some ad hoc duties. The position is Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend work when the need arises.
As the Facility and Assets group maintains a group of facilities, the Cleaner, Facility and Assets may be asked to attend other facilities within the Barwon Precinct from time-to-time.
Some of your duties will include:
* Perform general cleaning to designated areas within the Barwon Precinct
* Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment in a large facility
* Ability to maintain a cleaning schedule and basic knowledge of risk assessments in relation to maintenance and OH&S regulations
