Zitron Australia Pty Ltd is a fast growing, ventilation fan manufacturing company, supplying industrial fan units to the mining and road tunnel sector, based in the southern suburbs of Perth.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Trade Assistant, to join the fast-growing Australian arm of an international group that is a global leader in the field of ventilation for underground mines, road and railway tunnels, and metro systems.
Job Requirements and Description
* Assist tradespeople with the assembly and installation of components and equipment
* Operate basic hand and power tools safely
* Prepare parts and materials for assembly
* Perform manual handling and general labouring tasks
* Maintain a clean and safe work area
* Report any defects or issues to the supervisor
* Previous experience in a similar role or a manufacturing/assembly environment preferred
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Have a forklift licence
* Be able to follow instructions
* Work in a team and independently
* Work to standards
* Be flexible and versatile in many small jobs
* Be available to work overtime if necessary
