We are seeking an experienced Operations Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team at ASG Civil & Industrial, based in Laverton North, Victoria. This full-time role will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the operational logistics of our personnel, fleet, and civil projects, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Liaise with cross-functional teams, including project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless coordination of day-to-day activities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive plans, schedules, and timelines to monitor progress and identify potential bottlenecks.
Monitor and report on key project metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Manage the procurement and allocation of resources, equipment, and materials to support project requirements.
Collaborate with the project team to resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise.
Timesheet management, purchase order coordination, reviewing and closing jobs, and responding to client requests.
Provide regular progress updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar operations role, preferably within the civil utilities industry.
Strong understanding of hydro combo trucks, jet trucks, and CCTV camera units.
Strong understanding of water or utilities infrastructure networks
Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and resource management principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in using planning and coordination systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a reactive civil environment.
Adaptable and flexible, with a proactive approach to managing changing priorities.
