Aged Care Kitchen Support Role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Kitchen Hand to join our team in a part-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe preparation, storage, and service of all food items within our environment.
This includes working collaboratively with staff and clients under the guidance of the Day Club Manager. You must ensure client meals comply with regulatory food safety standards and meet nutrition and presentation requirements.
The role involves preparing daily morning tea and lunch for clients, adhering to regulatory food safety standards and focusing on nutrition and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare daily morning tea and lunch for clients in line with regulatory food safety standards and with a focus on nutrition and presentation.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
Requirements:
* Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination per policy.
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity).
* Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks.
* Relevant certificate in cooking / food preparation.
* Previous kitchen / food preparation experience within aged care or similar industry.
