Support Worker – Home Care (Shepparton, Mooroopna, Tatura and surrounding suburbs)
About the Role
We are looking for people to join our Shepparton team as Support Workers in the community. Part‐time positions are currently available to work with the community care team.
* Support clients with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, assistance in the community and companionship.
* Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and medication prompting.
* Help clients achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
* Promote customer choice and meaningful positive routines and activities.

What You Will Bring
Ideally, you will have some experience in the health sector; if not, we would still love to hear from you if this is a career you want to pursue and you have the right "can‐do" attitude. Full training and orientation will be provided.
* Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes within the Shepparton area.
* A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (essential) or willingness to undertake traineeship.
* Current first aid and CPR certificate (essential).
* Current and valid driver's licence and comprehensive insurance, reliable motor vehicle.
* Mobile phone that supports GPS (essential).
* Capacity to embrace a meaningful role for the community and yourself.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Proficiency in using technology such as smartphones, email and internet.
* A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission‐based organisation.
