Join Our Team as our Onsite People and Culture Advisor

We are looking for a People & Culture Advisor to join our team, someone who enjoys being on the ground, loves a variety in their work, working alongside leaders, and making a real impact where it matters most.
About the role
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll partner closely with leaders to support day-to-day people matters, build leadership capability, and strengthen team culture. You'll be a trusted advisor providing practical, timely guidance across the full employee lifecycle while helping drive engagement and performance across your sites.
You will be based onsite 5 days per week, working:
* 4 days at our Tuan site
* 1 day at our Glulam site
A key part of this role is maintaining strong presence out on the floor, understanding day-to-day operations and providing support to our leaders where it's needed most.
Your Next Role
Reporting to the People and Culture Specialist you will:
* Partner with site leaders to provide practical HR advice and support
* Coach leaders on performance, conduct, and team effectiveness
* Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and case management
* Responsible for site recruitment and onboarding to ensure the right people join and succeed
* Contribute to initiatives that build culture, engagement and leadership capability
* Use workforce data and insights to identify trends and improve outcomes
* Ensure people's practices are consistent, fair and aligned with legislation and company policy

Location - Tuan/Maryborough – You will be based at our plant in the Tuan Forest, located in the beautiful Fraser Coast region. This coastal town offers affordable living and is proudly home to Queensland's greatest icons including Fraser Island.
About you
You're someone who builds trust easily, backs yourself to have the right conversations, and enjoys being close to the operation.
You'll likely bring:
* Experience in a HR / P&C Advisor or similar generalist role
* Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations
* Passion and confidence supporting leaders with performance and employee relations matters
* The ability to influence, coach and build capability in leaders
* A practical, down-to-earth approach suited to a manufacturing environment
* Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Experience in manufacturing, industrial or blue-collar environments will be highly regarded.
